Discussion of the recently re-edited chreia ὁ Πυθαγόρας φιλόσοφος ἀποβὰς καὶ γράμματα διδάσκων συνεβούλευεν τοῖς ἑαυτοῦ μαθηταῖς ἐναιμόνων ἀπέχεσθαι (T. Br. Libr. Add. MS. 37516.1). The author, who dealt with this chreia already in 2013, reaffirms and improves his arguments. In particular, he disagrees with the lexicographical interpretation of ἐναιμόνων ἀπέχεσθαι and with the alleged equivalence ὁ Πυθαγόρας φιλόσοφος = Πυθαγόρας ὁ φιλόσοφος.
