This paper studies the transmission of the recensio breviata of the first two books of the Anthology of John of Stobi. After describing all the manuscripts, it detects two groups of witnesses which derive from three preserved copies (F A P) of the same archetype which antedates the 14th century. F is independent of A P; A is the model of P. All the other manuscripts have been copied from F or P.
