Fr. 945 (incertae sedis) R.2 can be ascribed to one of Sophocles᾿ two Tyro plays in the light of its content; the speaker who complains about the human condition, by comparing the θνητὸν γένος to shadow and weight on the earth, is perhaps to be identified as Tyro or Salmoneus.
