With regard to Ar. inc. fab. fr. 688 K.-A., this paper aims to identify what kind of wine anthosmias and pramnios are and who is behind the poetological metaphor based on these two opposing wines. It also proposes an attribution of the passage to the lost comedy Thesmophoriazusae.
